Steve and his team of craftsmen are among the best contractors I have ever worked with. Steve's vast experience was obvious from the first time I met with him. His crews are polite and extremely hard working. I have had them do several projects ranging from minor repairs to a recent 3 family condo conversion. My next project is a 5 unit high end condo conversion and I will surely give the job to Steve. We all know how hard it is to find an honest and reliable contractor that knows how to get the job done on time and in budget. Here is one that won't let you down.

In the three-plus years since we bought our house Steve has done a variety of projects ranging from a top-notch job of refinishing our hardwood floors throughout the house to various electrical and plumbing repairs. He always finished on time, at or below budget and provided first-rate, professional results. A very recent example follows. Last Monday, after attempting to remove vinyl wallpaper from our guestroom walls ourselves in preparation for painting it we came to our senses and called Steve. He came by that evening and helped us to identify the work we needed to prepare a nursery for our first child's birth in July. In addition to removing the wallpaper from the other three walls, a new plaster ceiling was needed, as were skim-coating the walls, priming and painting (2 coats) the ceiling and walls. Elsewhere in the house, the walls and ceiling of the stairwell and upstairs hall needed skim-coating and painting, 2 ceiling fan/light fixtures were to be replaced, built-in shelves were to be added to a closet, a new door installed on another closet and a banister added and built-in shelving constructed under the basement stairs. Steve proposed a price many hundreds of dollars less than I had expected and stressed that it was the price and not an "estimate." Work started the next day and by the following Monday (six days later) everything was finished, the trash removed from the house and we couldn't be more pleased with the work.

Steve has handled at least a half dozen projects for us in the last 3 years. He and his colleagues always did excellent work, at or under budget, and pretty close to on time. The work included refinishing hardwood floors, lighting installation and repair and emergency plumbing.
